Прекрасная возможность для уровня b1 We’ve completed the second book in our B1+ reading club! What a time it was! Jokes and laughs, games and discussions, thoughts and ideas, reading chapter by chapter, finding word by word to express yourself. Reading Matilda helped us to create a unique space where improvement happened step by step and everything was possible. Where else would you have a chance to pretend to be one of the characters (even the nastiest ones!) or come up with a way to take revenge on the terrible parents?
All of that thanks to a wonderful teacher Julia Юлия Малиновская. Here’s what she says about the club: “It is so nice to see how intermediate-level students take their first steps in reading books in English. And it is such a pleasure to guide them and see how they improve and learn.
I think discussing books is a good opportunity to practice your English as books give us plenty of food for thought and they also touch on a lot of different subjects. And it is very important to do this in a nice and friendly company as well.”
And we had that company!
One adventure ends, only for another to begin. Soon, we will set off with one respectable hobbit (who can definitely say a lot about the importance of a good company!) for a risky journey. There and back, of course.
